FDJC12月大懇親会

12月MTGの後に場所を変えて忘年会を開催させていただきました。
今年は「食材持ちより型のバーベキュー」という事で会員の皆様から、御当地の食材、飲み物、フルーツ、スイーツ等を持ち寄って頂き、また止むを得ず参加の叶わなかった会員の方からも食材を提供をしていただきました。
急な参加の呼び掛けとなってしまったにもかかわらず、多くの会員様、会員様の御家族に参加して頂き一年の御慰労とこれからの親睦を深める事が出来た大変盛り上がる会となりました。

設立から始まったFDJCの初年度でしたが、世界各国との未来対話に、本格的に推し進めて行くための礎の年となりました。
本年度は確固たる理念を持って未来対話に臨み、その重要性を浸透させる醸成の年度になるよう、会員の皆様にはより一層お力をお借りしていきたいと思っております。

本年度は、MTG及び充実した内容の勉強会等が議案にあがっております。
迅速な案内及びご報告を心掛けて参りますので、是非ともMTG及び勉強会へのご出席賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

Marking the end of one year of activities since the establishment of the NPO Future Dialogue Junior Council (FDJC), the 5th FDJC Meeting, which underwent a name change since the previous 4th FDJC Meeting of the Board of Directors held in Tokyo, was held at our headquarters in Yatomi, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
Despite being held in the busy December period and unfavorable weather conditions persisting nationwide, members from all over the country—from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south—traveled to Aichi to participate.
Chairman Aoki began the meeting by reflecting on the activities of the past year, reporting on the Kagoshima Consensus, an agreement made with the goal of achieving world peace through education jointly announced by the four countries that participated in the Kagoshima Future Talks, and the bilateral teacher exchange system made possible through the establishment of FDJC Indonesia. He thanked all of our members for their daily efforts and emphasized that while our initiatives will not produce immediate changes, the slow and steady accumulation of results will eventually sway politics and change the world.
Afterwards, earnest and lively discussions took place regarding the upcoming Future Dialogues in America, Germany, and Hong Kong, on how to make each of these countries/regions into a role model.

After the meeting, an end of year party was held at a separate venue. This year’s party was a “bring and barbecue,” so each member provided ingredients, drinks, fruits, and sweets from their local area. Even those members who were unable to participate contributed some ingredients.
Despite the sudden announcement of this event, many members and their families were able to participate, deepening their bonds and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

While this was only the first year of activities for the FDJC, it served as a foundational year for the full-scale promotion of Future Dialogues with countries all over the world.
This year, we will once again call upon our members to conduct Future Dialogues with firm principles in order to permeate the importance of these talks.

This year, we have many meetings, informative study groups, and other events on the agenda.
We will endeavor to inform you of these events in a timely manner and look forward to your participation.
